Ever/Never: We use never in the positive sentences and ever in questions.
Present perfect/Past simple
PP → Things of the past that still have an effect in the present and recent events/actions that are still in process (today, this week, this year…). Also, to talk about experiences of alive people. (We use it with "for" and "since").
PS → Actions or events that have already finished and actions/events that happened in a specific period of the past. Also to talk about experiences or achievements of dead people.
