Another setting Central London Hatchery and Conditioning Centre. This is the place where all the eggs are developed and eventually conditioned into their class, and when they are babies they get further conditioned there.

"After All, everyone belongs to everyone else" pg 43-Fanny
Authors Purpose
He also shows many times throughout his book that the government is in complete control and that the totalitarianism of the government is a huge factor for how this society is ran the government produces the ideas, and the people have to go along with it. He uses this to reflect life throughout the book and how it will go.
The authors purpose of this book is to reflect his future thoughts of how society will end. He reflects how the loss decline in marriages and incline in divorces will be a huge effect on society. He brings up in his foreword how the immediate future reflects the immediate past.
Themes
I think one of the other themes are that the problems that what happens right now will affect what happens in the future. I believe this because in the story he explains how when the book was written marriage was declining, and in his story there is no marriage. He also explains how people no longer are being faithful to one partner and in the book everyone is everyone elses.
I think one of the themes of Brave New World is how humans react to scientific advancements. I think this because of the way science progressed in this society they changed the way they act. They started doing outlandish things that they wouldn't have done otherwise. They started abolishing parents for children. Making people conditioned to believe everything the government, and not to mention the large orgies.
Characters
So far I've only met some of the characters, but not all. I have met Bernard, Lenina, Henry and other side characters, but so far these have been the only ones I have been introduced to.
Bernard: Bernard is seen as a weird character to most people. He does not follow their society's social norms and is very arrogant sometimes.
Lenina: Lenina seems like she is a nice girl who pretty much just tries to go with the societal norms that are presented throughout the story. She is very much a follower and she is scared of the unknown and does not like to stray away from her beliefs.
Henry: Henry is an arrogant alpha and is very full of himself. He is kind of a jerk and I do not really know much about him besides that.
