Used to store and analyse data on anything and is different to a data base on the tools and main use of an MIS.
This is being used by HR so a MIS could be used like SIMs so it could track when they have been in work, what they have done and any other relevant information on the employee.
They will be able to spit up the employees into separate departments so that analysing and checking on them will be easier than a database.
It could speed up decision making on the part of the HR department by highlighting the necessary information that is relevant to the topic.
All the data will be stored centrally so the business will be able to use it when ever they need it and will have access to most if not all the relevant data.

This means they will be accessing company and individual sensitive and private information on a daily bases.
They will have to be a pretty large team because they are dealing with a large amount of people and a large amount of data on those people.
This will cost a lot because while this company is a multi-national it still needs to pay its workers and therefore will cost a lot because it is not cheap to hire.

meaning a lot of data needs to be inputted into the MIS and that also means that they will likely need a lot of storage.
They have a lot of money the cost of the MIS should be under less focus than the other aspects due to it being a multi national
They will have a quite expansive HR team because of the amount of data on employees the company needs to store and manage.

They will could use the MIS to track the progress and efficiency of the workers and from there access whether the company needs to keep them or try and help them improve at their job.

They could use the MIS to analyse the businesses current out put and then set goals and inceptives for the employees to increase overall efficiency and work ethic within the business.

I could mention that the company would need access to the data at all times because the different countries will be between time zones and across long distances.

They could have back ups stored of the data and that will allow them to protect the data because even if one of the sites has the data damaged it will all be backed up.
