Controls
Clock Cards:
- Numerically sequenced
- issued by personnel dept. (from personnel / master file)
- stored at clock machine
Entry/Exit points:
- limited to one access point
- protected by a turn style mechanism
- supervised during clock periods
Clock procedures:
- clocking machine situated at entrance
- supervision over clocking
Foreman:
- keep a register
- sign clock cards as evidence of approved hours
- foreman's clock to be signed by senior official
Overtime:
- should be authorised by company policy/factory manager/ foreman
- foreman's overtime authorised by factory manager
