Art. 128 of FC: Only the Federal Court has the jurisdiction to hear cases relating to the validity of federal and state laws and disputes on any question between states or between the Federation and any states
Appellate
S 87 of CJA, Federal Court can hear any criminal appeal from decisions of the Court of Appeal.
S 96 of CJA states that Federal Court can hear all civil appeals from any judgment or order of the Court of Appeal.

Referral Jurisdiction
under Art 128(2) of FC and S 84 of CJA, Federal Court has jurisdiction to determine constitutional provisions which have arisen in proceedings in the High Court or any subordinate courts, but which are referred to it for a decision by way of a special case.
