Characteristics
Big beautiful eyes, cloudy cornea, photophobia, tearing, blepharospasm
Pathophysiology
Insufficient aquous drainage

Retinoblastoma
Characteristics
Most common primary intraocular tumor, second most common tumour involving eye in childhood
Treatment
Chemotherapy, local ocular therapy, radiation, enucleation
Mortality
Low in western countries
Persistent fetal vasculature
Charactersitics
Failure of normal ocular development, wide variation in prognosis
Congenital corneal opacity
Many causes
Early Treamtent is required
Visual prognosis is poor even with surgical result
Emergencies
First three months is a critical time for visual development
Leukocoria
Definition: White pupil
Loss of red reflex
May be secondary to white reflection from retina
