On every book of course it always has a title, a title may grab a reader attention to pick a book and help them to know what's the book about.

I may find heading on both book, heading is use so the reader may know what the book main thing about.

I may find maps on both books, maps may help the readers to understand better about its geography and its very useful to improve our knowledge.
Sidebar
I found no sidebar on both books
Sidebar actually use to put some background information or extra information for the readers to read.
Glossary
I found no glossary on both books
Glossary is use for readers to understand new words or unfamiliar words so they may understand it.

I may find diagram on both books, diagram is used to point a certain part of an image.

Table of content is a very important parts of the book, even you can find it on Infront page of every nonfiction books. Table of content may help the reader easier to find certain pages of a certain topic that they are searching for.

I may find bunch of photographs on both books, on nonfiction books it is very important to have a photograph in it so the readers, may improve their knowledge, able to visualize it and make it interesting for them to read.

I may find caption on both books bellow an image, caption may help reader to understand the picture better.

I may find index on both books on the last page. Index are used to help readers to found interesting or new vocabulary and lead them to the pages where it talks about it, for example the word Alabama and i may find it on page 24.

Almost in every nonfiction book has special prints, special prints may be bold, highlighted or cursive each special prints has it own meaning. Bold and highlight is for important keywords on the other hand cursive is actually used for if the writer uses another language.

Table are usually used to compare few things or to make general conclusion.
