The narrative will follow Todorov's theory of the equilibrium starting with the girl looking in the mirror. The disequilibrium of a monstrous shadow appearing in the mirror. Recognition where she watches the shadow grow over her. The resolution of the girl sitting at the desk with her GP to discuss breast cancer. Lastly the new equilibrium where the shadow is swept away as the girl speaks up about her symptoms.
