STEP 01 - GNG Process
Present a summary to the activites to take place in delivering the project
Identify if AECOM have worked previously with the client or not
Identify the Project program and required disciplines to complete the scope
Identify If AECOM has delivered a project of similar scope recently
Identify if the project has an opportunity to stream line more projects down the line for AECOM
Present a high level fee for AECOM to deliver the scope
Provide a recommendation if AECOM should pursue the opportunity
Identify the disciplines that AECOM would most likely need to subconstract
Step 02 - Strategy Call with Business leads
Prepare a list of subconsultants who would add value to the AECOM portfolio
Agree on a winning strategy with regards to approving with RFP program, or preparing a separate one
Agree on winning arguments to be included in the technical proposal, for instance an authority approval roadmap, Digital boards, projects to be installed in project experience chapter, or response statement to client vision
Agree on the suitable team to work on the bid
Agree on Organization chart strategy
Discuss potential list of competitors
Step 03 - Fee Approval
Ensure that Fee build up is reflected of applicable, and reasonable deployment
Ensure there are no double up in deliverables between any of the provided fees from all discplines
Ensure the least reasonable cost is collected from the subconsultants
Ensure allocated contingency is approved by the Commercial team
Understand the cost AECOM has requested on similar projects recently for same client, or others
