EPQ Presentation
Why I chose EPQ?
- I wanted to gain literacy skills that i don't get in the subject i take (report writing)
- the applicable skills i will need for university (primrose kitten, studying more independently) (skills)
- gave me a good break from my a level subjects while still being beneficial to me (pk) (change)
- I liked being able to control how I chose to do this project (organisation)
If I had another 6 months, would I add anything to my report, would I do anything different?
- I would explore the different sectors within engineering and see if there are any differences

Conclusion: (is it different to what I originally thought I would conclude, explain why in the verbal presentation)
Main themes: (interesting, remember audience)
Why did I choose this topic?
(Could you move this beyond simply stating personal interest, and think about gaps in literature, the relevance of the topic, the cultural relevance of the topic or something similar? Think - why is my project worthwhile, beyond my own interest. You could critique the existing research for overlooking the topic.)
Could you move into recommendations in your conclusion?
Don’t just state your findings, but think about what someone could do with your findings. Why does it matter that you have concluded as you have, or found out what you have?
Think about the limitations of your findings.
How would someone disagree with you, and can you take steps to mitigate these questions? Anticipate and mitigate criticism.
Keep your audience in mind at all times - both in your writing and in your presentation.
Could you keep the language simple but effective? Could you explain elements in the presentation in a conversational but professional manner?
