Building Organisations & Local actors Dialogue (for) – Policy
Goal: To foster Thai CSOs’ role as actors of inclusive, gender-responsive socioeconomic development and governance
Specific Objective (Outcome)
Enhanced CSOs’ participation and representativeness of women’s, youths’ and children’s voices in local and national socioeconomic policy dialogue in Thailand.
Indicators (3)
1.1 Number of government policies, laws and regulations developed or revised with women’s and youths’ CSOs’ participation through EU support. GERF 2.29. GAP III.

1.2 Number of executive measures taken by the Thai government or LAs to increase youth, women, and indigenous participation in decision-making at local and national levels.

1.3 Percentage of youth, women, and indigenous CSOs/CBOs supported who manifest a medium/high improvement in their engagement in national and local economic decision-making processes.

Output 1.1
Enhanced women´s CSOs, CBOs and networks’ capacities and engagement opportunities for policy dialogue with local authorities (LAs) in Chiang Rai.

1.1.1 Number of members of women CSO/CBOs trained/mentored who show increased knowledge (good, high) on advocacy and policy dialogue.

1.1.2 Number of gender-sensitive policy recommendations submitted to LAs by women CSOs/CBOs with the intervention’s support.

1.1.2) Grassroots women’s groups training, networking, and collaboration.
1.1.3) Research paper & campaigns on public service and policy implementation around women’s rights.
1.1.4) LA and women’s network groups advocacy and policy maker engagement.
1.1.5) Multi-stakeholder dialogue with state actors in Chiang Rai province.
1.1.6) Collaboration with like-minded actors and agencies to enhance existing women’s rights and equality dialogue and networks.

Output 1.2
Enhanced CSOs, youth and children-focused networks (Lanna Child Rights Coalition - LCRC), capacities and policy dialogue engagement opportunities with duty-bearers in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai.

1.2.1 Number of youths (Child Rights Youth Activists (CRYA) trained/mentored who show increased knowledge (good, high) on children and youth rights.

1.2.4) Child & youth rights situational analysis to support CR campaign information.
1.2.5) Child & youth rights and protection campaigns, advocacy, and dialogue.
1.2.6) State, civil society, donors, thematic networks, private actors and youth leaders’ policy dialogue on child & youth rights.

Output 1.3
Strengthened capacities of women, youth, and indigenous CSOs/CBOs networks from Southern, Northern and North-eastern regions and engagement opportunities with national and local governments to claim economic and social rights.
