The Palestinians gave them land, now known as Israel
As greed rose, they started to take over Palestine causing the Israel-Palestine conflict
The UK moved Jews to the Middle East as there was no space for them in any other country around

6 million Jews were killed
2.7 million were killed at killing centres
2 million were murdered in mass shooting operations
800,000 - 1,000,000 were murdered in ghettos, labour and concentration camps
250,000 were killed in other acts of violence
Disabled people were killed
People with mental conditions were killed
Hitler was ageist so he also killed old people
Auschwitz
Known to be the biggest concentration camp for Jews
Held 1,300,000 Jews during WW2
Approximately 1,100,000 Jews were killed
The main camp was known for its gas chambers which were disguise as showers

Originally he wanted to just conquer the whole of Eastern Europe
He hated how the Jews had always achieved high in status
Decided to make changes by putting in rules against Jews after he was elected leader of Nazi Party
It went from classifying the Jews as different to mass murdering them

Holocaust Memorial Day happens on the 27th January every year
This year it was Sat 27th Jan
It is a day to remember the millions who died in this period of time
