Should Labor have "broken" a "promise"? Should the Liberal actually try to black the changes to the program?
Georgie Purcell's image was photo-shopped to make her outfit more revealing and increase the size of her chest by channel Nine. She is an elected member of the Victorian parliament with degrees in law and politics. Is this a case of incompetence, sexism, classism, or a combination, and what does our response reflect about us? Would this happen to a male MP? Would it have happened if Georgie Purcell hadn't been a sex-worker while she was studying?

Something about the lack of regulation around AI and problems that have already occurred because of AI (I don't want you writing some dumb Terminator-inspired fan-fiction. There are real issues around AI that are interesting to discuss.)
Something about how AI art is not only bad, but actively reinforces stereotypes and its wider adoption will further perpetuate them. (for example, if you get an AI art generation tool to draw "an autistic person" you will get a drawing of a white, sad man/boy. Autism is not more common among white people than people of other races, it is diagnosed more often in males, but that is likely due to issues with current detection practices and assuming autistic people are sad feeds in very negative and stupid stigma around a learning difference.

Genetic testing helps people be aware about potential health concerns in their future. However, if you receive testing, private healthcare companies can charge you more money. This is encouraging people not to get tested, even if the disease can be treated. Haemochromatosis is an example. Some people who have a likelihood of having it due to their family history still don't seek genetic testing as if they do have disease and receive treatment, their healthcare costs will be higher for the rest of their lives.

Police Reform
Could look into how Victoria police abused their power regarding "Thomas Carrick" (the alias given to the 13-year old which was radicalised into supporting ISIS by the AFP, according to the judgement of the court magistrate) and argue that is an example of police groups valuing arrests over work which actually helps people.

Should social media companies face harsher (jail term) consequences for their participation in stalking, cyberbulling, and the exploitation of minors. If we (society) continues to only punish social media companies with financial penalties that have minimal-to-no effect on the companies' yearly profit, are we complicit?

No more homeless shelters, no strict requirements or zero-tolerance polices for drugs, no NIMBY crap. Just give actual homes to the homeless for free (look up the Salt Lake City program about this which started in 2005. Also, you will need to address the politics of this approach)
