Present language orally: Talk to children in E, sometimes in natural language
Spend time to speaking: The purpose of language is communication
Students need to read both from their course material (labelling, making poster) and informally in the classroom (game with letter and words)
Writing is the last skill developed
Do not expect them to learn things in E which they have not already mastered in L1.
