The Civil Rights Movement

Causes

The Jim Crow Laws restricted Black male Americans from the little rights they already had

The bus boycotts started by Rosa Parks was one of the events that kicked off the Civil Rights Movement

Effects

The Civil Rights Movement ended the Jim Crow Laws. This gave Black Americans freedom to have access to places that were previously reserved for white people only.

Black Americans were able to receive high quality jobs with better pay.

Rule of Law

Causes

Rule of Law was needed so the United States could have a stable system of justice.

Rule of Law was needed to prevent the government from resorting to tyranny. Without it, there would be chaos in the country.

Effects

Rule of Law helps keep peace throughout the country.

Rule of Law helps control the rights citizens have.
