1) Countries need to reform their ideals: focus on either preservation, reforestation, or afforestation & set these as high priorities
2) Stop treating trees as non-renewable resources! Stop harvesting so much before trees get a chance to grow.
3) Crack down harder on illegal logging! Illegal harvesting also replaces natural forests with monoculture plantations.
1) Use alternatives to palm oil. Palm oil plantations are the second biggest cause of deforestation globally.
2) Consume Less & Consume Consciously: use secondhand wood products (furniture, recycled tissue and paper products)
