"The types of workplaces most likely to be affected first are those with highly automatable tasks, such as those routine tasks within the transportation, sales, food service, and administration sectors." Jobs have started to be taken, grocerty stores are one that have starred to be automated because they have less human interaction and the machines are able to come to conclusions better than humans can. Grocery stores have got rid of humans running registers and replaced them with machines, they also have robots able to do inventory and scan the stores to be ableto come to conclusions like
" look[ing] at the shampoo shelf. It saw that only 30% of the consumers who shopped the aisle were women; to draw more, it recommended putting the feminine hygiene products next to the shampoo. When that happened, women shoppers came to the aisle, and shampoo sales grew by 25%." Humans wouldnt have been able to come to these conclusions themselves. They are not able to be everywhere and scan the store like robots and AI can. Without regulations we can expect companies to keep expanding and getting rid of jobs because AI can do it better and more efficetly
