Dark blue-- cold pallette makes the history seem more epic and gritty, and can also be used to symbolise the waters that surrounds the isles
Dark grey- a metallic colour that could serve as a good background
Gold- good colour for a crown and would serve as contrast to the dark grey background
Red--British history is quite bloody, so some red colouring wouldn't go amiss

Make visual identity look like a PEGI 12 interpretation of British history
Avoid overly cartoonish art style
Avoid too many elements that may hint at a more adult demographic
Visual identity should invoke a sense of wonder/curiosity within the students, so it would be a good idea to make the logo look interesting without it being too complicated
Create a visual identity that is original and possesses features that are discernible from other companies
avoid complication of logo-- it should be quick and easy to recreate
