Teaching Styles
Authority Style: Also known as "the lecture style", teacher-centered, teacher is an expert and ss passive recipients. Ex. University lectures on large halls

Demonstrator or coach style: Teacher models what is expected. Mix of lecture and demonstration. Ex. language teacher demonstrating pronunciation.

Hybrid or blended style: combine multiple styles depending on content, learner needs and context. Good for mixed levels.

Facilitator or activity style: It is student-centred, teacher guides ss to construct knowledge themselves through projects, discussion and critical thinking. Ex. Debates or group projects.

Delegator or group style: Teacher acts as a resource, assigns independent or group work. Ss take charge of their learning. Ex. Assigning a team project where ss research and present findings.
Pros: Encourages independence, best for lab and peer feedback activities.
