SOURCES OF LIGHT
ORIGIN:
natural (SUN) and artificial.
DIRECTION:
Front Lighting: SHOWS the TAILS, REMOVES, SHADOW
Side Lighting: CREATES SHADOWS AND DEPTH
Back Lighting: GENERATES GLOWING, SILHOUETTES, or AURA EFFECTS.
NATURAL LIGHT: depends on the position of the Sun
Midday (the Sunlight full vertically): produce strong light, harsh shadow --> risk of overexposed and blown out.
Sunrse/Sunset: the sun is closer to the horizon --> soft shadow. Light is not very intense. Is necessary long exposure.
MAGIC HOURS
Sunset:
GOLDEN HOUR ( 30 - 60 min before Sunset) : soft, worm, golden light.
BLUE HOUR (after Sunset, max 60 min) : cool, blue tones, no shadow.
Sunrise:
BLUE HOUR --> comes before the sun rises.
GOLD HOUR --> follows the blue hour
