Ethical Challenges
With the many advancements made in AI. People are beginning to lose their jobs and are being replaced by AI. Instead of mistreating their employees, they keep their employees jobs while allowing them to work alongside AI.
This choice is the most ethical. It follows universalism ethics because it keeps the greatest amount of people happy while also embracing the new technological advancements of AI.
AI is used to track the best places for a fast food chain to open up a new store, it bases this off of past data that is focused in certain areas. This holds bias around it because the AI is only basing its decision off of certain places without giving other locations a chance.
In order to make this ethical, the AI would need to follow a neutral set of rules and data points that predict future revenue for the fast food chain. Not only based on how past chains performed.

AI is used to detect any threats in a school. If a threat is detected it will put the school into lock down mode and contact help.
This is a good use of AI, however, certain situations that are deemed a threat may not be a real threat. This would have to follow deontology, and have a human to overlook the situation and make sure that it is safe.
Without a human to check this. The AI could make mistakes depending on if a threat is real or not. Either resulting in too many false lock downs or not noticing when a real threat is present.

AI is used in school setting to detect if students are using AI to complete assignments. This allows schools to ensure that all students are completing their work with honesty.
This follows virtue ethics. Acting with honesty and trust is very important when it comes to academics. It also makes sure that the students work is their own and they are not stealing it from someone else.
AI is used to track suspiscous financial behavior. It is used to catch people committing fraud with money laundering and fake identities.
This is very important to keep using and advancing because it is stopping the majority of people from harm. This follows utilitarianism because the majority if people are hurt by people committing financial fraud.
