Electrical energy:
-
Electricity: is made up of energy that lets negatively charged partcles move from one atom to another
Electric Current: the flow of electrons fromone atoms to another inside a canductive
MAIN ELECTRIC VARIABLES
current: this is the instensity of the current or the amount of electrons flowing througha conductor over a certaain time.
voltage: this is the diference in the charge between two points, bwhich makes the electrons move.
-
TYPES OF CIRCUITS
Series parallel combination circuits
Parallel circuits
currents: the current of equivalent circuit is equal to the sum of the current flowing across each of the resistors.
voltages: the total voltage delivered by the power source is the same as the potential drops across each of the resitors
resistences: the invers of the equivalent resistance is equal to the sum of the inverses of all resistences in the circuit
Series circuits
Currents: the currents flowing through all of the resistors in the circuit is the same and is equal to the current of the equivalent circuit.
Voltages: is delivered buy the power source in the sum of the potential drops across each of the resistor
