TYPES OF CIRCUITS
SERIES CIRCUITS: In this circuit all the components are conected one after the other. There is only one possible path for the main current
PARALLEL CIRCUITS: In these circuits, the load devices are conected on different branches of the wire. There are several possible paths for the electric current to flow through

OHM'S LAW
when we analize,we need to define variables, there are 3 main variables:
-
Voltage/potential difference: Difference in charge between two points, wich makes the electrons move. Its unit of measurment is the volt (V)

REPRESENTING CIRCUITS
-
Every component in a circuit has a standardised symbol to represent it in a simple way that everybody can understand

OPEN, CLOSED & SHORT CIRCUITS
CIRCUITS
A circuit is CLOSED when the energy of the power source reaches the load devices, so the electric current flows.
A circuit is OPEN when the energy of the power source cannot reach the .load devices,so the electriccurrent flows.
A SHORT CIRCUIT occurs when the electric current is transported by the wires without passing through a load device
