did King Arthur get Excalibur
King Arthur got Excalibur either 2 ways, the first way is from the Lady Of The Lake once he broke his old sword
The other possible way King Arthur acquired Excalibur was pulling it out from a stone. Legend has it that King Arthur was able to pull it out of a stone as a boy on his own
King Arthur returned Excalibur to The Lady Of The Lake when he was mortally wounded after his last battle. He couldn't return it himself so he told one of his trusted knight Sir Bedivere to throw it to the lake. When Sir Bedivere threw it an arm rose to catch the sword, waved it three times and then disappeared
