ELCTRICAL ENERGY
ELECTRICITY
Lets negatively charged particles
ELECTRIC CURRENT
Flow of electrons atoms to conductive materials
CONDUCTORS AND INSULATORS
Materials that let electricity current flow throught them
.
ELECTRIC CIRCUITS
Series of interconnected components that an electric current flows
LOAD DEVICES
Components, recive electrical energy and convert it to other energy
CONTROL DEVICES
Regulate the circuit allow the electric current to pass throug
POWER SOURCES
Supply the necessary electrical energy. Move the electrons
ELECTRICAL SCHEMATIC Drawing to represent electrical circuits. Standardised symbol (Respresent more simple)
ELECTRICAL SCHEMATICS
We represent electrical circuits with a very simple drawing.
OPEN CIRCUIT: The electric current does not flow
CLOSE CIRCUIT: The electricity current flow and reaches de lamb and light
OHM'S LAW
When we analyse electrical circuits , we need to define a series of variables.
TYPES OF CIRCUIT
PARALLEL CIRCUIT : In these circuits the load divices are connected on different branches of the wire. There are several paths fot the electric current.
SERIES CIRCUIT: All the components are connected ,All the current flows though all tthe load devices. There is only a possible path
SERIES-PARALLEL COMBINATION CIRCUITS: These circuits contain devices connected in series and in parallel
CONVERTING ELECTRICAL ENRGY
LIGHT We can convert it to light through load devices such as incandescent lamps
HEAT Joule effect, electrons creat friction when they move through a conductor or load device: Heat
MOTION We convert it to motion using a motor
SOUND Electrical energy to transmit sounds through microphones. Sound are produced by vibrations in a membrane
PARALLEL CIRCUIT
RESISTANCE: The inverse of the equivalent resistance is equal to the sum of the inverses of all resistances in the circuit.
CURRENTS: the current of the equivalent circut is equal to the sum of the currents flowing flowing across each of the resistors
VOLTAGES:the total voltage delivered by the power source is the same as the oential drops across each of the resistors.
RESISTOR:Converts energy into heat energy
LAMP: Converts energy to light energy
MOTOR: Converts energy to kinetic energy
BUZZER: Converts energy to sound energy
ENERGY AND THE ENVIROMENT
Of the many activities we do everyday , the majrity use use eectricity.
enviromental impact of energy production and transmission:
Électrical is generated industrially in the power ,wich convert a for of energy to electrical energy.
