Immigrant children who were brought to the US at a young age struggle fitting in with their homeland and hostland.
Children often find that they do not necessarily belong with either or because they were brought to the US at such a young age so they do not know their homeland but they were not born in their host land so they feel so though they cannot necessarily call it "theirs".
