U.S Douglas SBD-3 Dauntless dive-bomber. These planes were launched from aircraft carries to assault the Japanese fleet during the battle of midway.

D-Day
Omaha Beach
4:55 AM, first waves of landing craft head to the beach.
5:50 AM, warships being bombarding the beach, and amphibious tanks being to launch into the water
6:30AM, Infantry land and need to make it to cover down the beach, many are killed here before they reach cover.
7:45AM, 2nd US Rangers go on top of the hills to destroy the costal guns that are stopping the troops at the bechs.
9:00 AM, US troops finally begin pushing off the beach where there are weaker spots of defense.
12:00 PM, US troops make it to the top of the bluffs and surviving Germans begin to surrender.
2:00 PM, Us troops being capturing villages further inland.
The battle at Omaha beach ends with confusion and disorganization on both sides, as the Germans are pushed back but still using artillery on the beach.
