Article 134: Article 134 establishes that the Ministry of Education shall promote and support social and scientific research at the national and international levels.
Article 132: Article 132 establishes that the Panamanian State has the responsibility to
preserve the elements of national identity that differentiate us as a nation and
unite the universal community.
Private Education
Article 118: This article establishes that private education is that which is provided at no cost to the State.
Article 119: Article 119 establishes that private education, provided by private entities
plays an important role in cultural, scientific, technological,
intellectual, civic, moral and spiritual of the population.
Scholarships
Article 162 establishes that the Executive Branch will grant scholarships with the aim of promoting intellectual and artistic progress.
Article 163: Article 163 establishes that the Ministry of Education, in coordination with
the Institute for the Training and Use of Human Resources, will guarantee strict compliance with the legal provisions in the granting of scholarships and financial assistance
