Geographic features like steep hills made farming difficult. Israelite's built terraces or steps into the hills to help get down the hills faster and easier same with getting up the hills most herds or flocks stayed on the hills.

King Solomon built the Temple and many more city's by charging a lot more taxes. The greatest achievements were Architecture, Monotheistic religion, and the Ten Commandments.

A Judge was a leader who was often a worrior or prophets. Judges did NOT pass there leadership to their descendants. The prophet Deborah was the only female Judge.
The Hebrew Bible states that Sau'ls best fighter was David. David Became the next king. David is beleived to have written psalms in the Bible. David's son Soloman ruled after David's death. Solomon was knowen as the wisest king that ruled.

Ancient Isrealite's lived in home called pillared
houses two rows of pillars took place in the center of the house. In the courtyards there were wells for water and mud brick ovens for cooking food like bread and more.

Jews believe the Sabbath day to be a day to rest from work, with a prayer and synagogue. also a time with family and friends during a meal

Early practice "You shall not eat any food made with yeast; for seven days you can only eat matzah [unleavened bread], the bread of affliction; for you departed from the land of Egypt hurriedly-so that you may remember the day of your departure for as long as you live." Deuteronomy 16:3
Today Passover is the day to remember the Exodus. The main event is seder, a ritual meal. It symbolizes the Israelites escape from slavery.
Population
During king Solomon's rule around 1000 B.C.E. 2 million jews lived in the land of Israel. After the second temple was destroyed the jew population reached around 4.5 million.
