Inside each sporocyst, it develops 4 sporozoites

LIFE CYCLE
ASEXUAL CYCLE
By means of contaminated food and water , which harbours sporozoites will cause infection .
It starts invading the intestinal epithelial laye and transform it's morphological form and gets multiply and form merozoites.

SEXUAL CYCLE

After it forms merozoites, it forms 1 macrogamete and 20- 25 microgametes . After 1 microgamete only fertilize 1 macrogamete.

PATHOGENESIS
-
Immunocompromised patients have fever , vomiting, nausea, dizziness.

Sometimes it results in serious complications like respiratory infection, lymphadenopathy , hepatospleenogamy.

Modified acid fast staining
Fluorescent staining - Auramine , Rhodomine dyes
