More deaths in the LEDC than in the MEDC. This is because the government and the people in the MEDC are more prepared to floods which then reduces the impacts of the floods

It is difficult for the rescuers and the aids to reach the area
People might feel isolated
More infrastructures being damaged in the LEDC since the quality may not be as good as the infrastructures in the MEDC

Lack of clean water could lead to the spread of waterborne diseases
More likely to happen in the MEDC as they might not have the access to clean water even before the floods occur
Power cut: affect the telecommunications between the rescuer with the victims
LEDC will have a bigger risk as their infrastructure may not be adequate enough

LEDC will experience a higher risk as they are less likely to import foods due to lack of aid funds
Farmers loose their source of income

Will likely to happen in the LEDC as the people might still reliant to primary sector
