Migraine is a diagnosis that is made clinically based on the results of a good history and physical examination. The history asked includes the patient's symptoms (onset, duration, frequency, location, intensity, history of previous attacks), accompanying symptoms, trigger factors, therapy that has been given and its impact, as well as other comorbid conditions. Neurological screening and blood pressure examinations are mandatory. If necessary, focused neurological examination, neck (posture, range of motion, tenderness), and jaw movement examination are performed if indicated
