- In < 1% cases , affects Lymph nodes called "Lymphadenopathy " .
- Im max cases - Nausea , vomiting , diarrhea with dysentric stools.
Treatment
- Tetracycline -500mg - 4 times a day for 10 days
- Metronidazole -750 mag - 3 times a day for 7 days.
Morphology
Trophozoite
- Anterior region - Ponited or Sharper
- Posterior region - Broader
- Size - 60-45 micrometer (l × b)
- Anterior - Has small depression - Parasite mouth called " Cytosome " .
- Bottom region - Sac like struc called "Cytopharynx ".
- Posterior - Small opening called " Cytophage".
- Cilia from mouth region.
-
Cyst
- "Oval / Round " shape
- Double layer cyst wall covering which is transparent.

By means of Fecal oral route

Div of Macromol foll by Micro and Contractile vacuole then cytoplasm after "Mouth" formation occurs.

"Transverse Binary Fission occurs " undergoes "Conjugation " by mouth of 2 Trophozoite .

Residues in Intestine & move Downwards produce Stool.
