●Cytopharynx-Sac like cavity
●Cytopyge-Anal opening
●Adoral cilia-The cilia in anterior region
●Three structures in Cytoplasm
•Nucleus
•Contractile vacuole
•Food vacuole

•Cyst wall- double layered covering and transparent
• Cilia is contracted during cyst formation

PATHOGENESIS
-Mostly harmless
-Intestinal ulcers in rare cases
-Affects lymph nodes in 1% of cases,called Lymph adenopathy
-Adenopathy is enlargement of lymph nodes
-Symptoms:
•Nausea
•Vomiting
•Diarrhoea
•Dysentric stool
