-Microglial cells: small, migrate towards injured neurons, transform to phagocytize microorganisms and neuronal debris
-Ependymal cells:rnage in shape, ciliated, line central cavities, form permeable barriers
Oligodencrocytes: branched cells, wrap CNS nerve fibers, forming myelin sheaths
