Unit 4 - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Hydrophilic heads and hydrophobic tails. (Tails face in to eachother)
        
        Proteins: maintain homeostasis, lets cells respond to environment and receive signals
        
        3-dimensional, can change shape, open/closes channels, transmits signals.
- - - - Passive: does NOT use energy
  - - - Diffusion: Moves to where concentration is low, does so until equilibrium
        
        Osmosis: Water moving from high to low concentration (can be based on solutes).
