It costs £25 per goat for the Oxfam
The goat can provide milk, manure and other baby goat after a while, so it is a sustainable gift.
Some challenges that Oxfam faced was the shortage of water

To help local communities giving the gift of a goat to rural families. Training and local knowledge ensure that the goats provide milk, manure for crops and breeding the goats generates income.
It is a sustainable help because once you have a goat you will be able to breed it, so you have a sustainable source of food and income that improves your life well into the future.
Wateraid
It aims to provide clean water, decent toilets and hygiene knowledge to people who don't yet have access to them
Their values are respect, accountability, courage, collaboration, innovation and integrity.
There are over 5,000 volunteers that work for wateraid.
In 2022 to 2023, they reached 2,761,000 people with clean water.
They helped 1,876,000 people with decent toilets
And finally 4,709,000 people with good hygiene.

UK response to Haiti Earthquake
The UK Government have a package of up to £1 million of intial support to Haiti.
They also provided more than 16,200 structural damage assessments in several places
They funded 115 doctors, 920 nurses and 740 support staff to set up 12 major cholera treatment centres and 60 smaller centres.
Helped to build back health centres and hospitals to safe standards
Helped develop small-scale insurance schemes to help people protect their assets in case of future disasters.
