Often, in IT projects, when planning training, specific users are directly "linked" to courses. This approach can lead to the fact that some aspects of the competence that the user should have are not taken into account. Using the concept of roles, acting as a flexible link between the user and the course, allows not only to make a deeper analysis of training needs and clearly identify the necessary training objects for existing roles, but also to develop a course for employees with fundamentally new roles. The result of this training planning step should be a list linking specific users to courses through their roles.
