Audience retention may be low due to original disinterest in the product. They may not be able to recall the product name and therefore will be less likely to remember it.

Some social media platforms give the option for some ads to be skippable. If we cannot pay money for an unskippable ad, it will be more likely that our product won't be recognised by viewers. Therefore, if we were to create an advert, we need to make sure the interesting part is in the time that the viewer isn't able to skip.
Radio advertisement
Positive
Allows the viewer to focus in on sound, therefore allowing them to retain information of the product rather than reading a screen.
When you listen to a song multiple times, you are most likely going to remember the entire lyrics. However, when you read a book cover multiple times, you probably will remember the title but not the author.
Negative
May not appeal to the person who is listening, especially when they have a family, a security system, etc.
Not many people use radio unless they drive a car, and even then, they download music on to a USB and listen to that instead.
