Glucose and Insulin
- glucose is taken in and enters the blood stream
- insulin is produced by the pancreas
- when the insulin attaches to cellular insulin receptor it sends a signal
- the inner cell receives the signal and allows for glucose to enter the cell

Occurs when the cell's insulin receptors stop reacting correctly to the insulin and the glucose is not let into the cell
