Cop28
Another important thing from cop28 is that the countries are planning to cut methane gas emissions by 30% which is a really big thing because methane gas is about 25% of the over all climate change.
A really big thing is about 200 countries have said they will move away from using foil fuels. This is amazing for the climate because fossil fuels are the main course of climate change and they account for more than 75% of the global emissions.
They also set a goal for net 0 by 2050 which means that they are trying to take out as much pollution from the air as they are putting into it. This is done in a lot of different ways like cutting down on how much fossil fuels we use and by finding ways to take out pollution from the air.
700 million dollars has been pledged to helping countries that have been damaged by climate change. This is for things like wild fires, floods and storms. This will really help a lot of countries like small islands and developing countries because they often get affected by natural disasters that have been made worse because of climate change.

Taking action
People are taking action by using alternatives to fossil fuels like driving electric cars, putting solar panels on their rooves and using geothermal energy on the west coast of Canada. There are also a lot of people becoming vegan and vegetarian that are trying to not eat meat and dairy products. people have also tried to recycle as much as possible.
There are also people like Greta Thunberg who go out of their way to try and teach people about the affect climate change has on the world and try and draw attention to it.

Green house effect.
It is the effect of the warming up of the planet by all the sources of climate change. It is also the suns rays hitting the earth and then bouncing off the earth and back into the atmosphere and then they are stuck in the atmosphere and heat up the earth.
Human Affects
Methane is one of the top causes of climate change. It accounts for about 25% of global emissions. That might not sound like a lot but it really is. It is caused by the animal waste excreted by cows, sheep and chicken poop, mining, garbage created by humans and gas and oil.
The creation of electricity adds to the Green house effect because they burn oil and gas to create electricity.
Waste is a big part of the green house effect becuse all the plastic and garbage creates bad emissions.
Houses are really bad for the environment because of all the heating and cooling that it takes to make them warm and cold. Big houses are not as good as small houses because it takes more energy to heat them up and cool them down.
Commercial industry is bad for the earth becuse it uses resources, it puts bad gasses into the earth's atmosphere and there is also a lot of waste that is left behind.
Transportation is a really bad for the environment it is about 30 present of the worlds globe emissions it is caused by the making and using of transport vehicles.
