I would include the medieval castles from back in the day and add a few modern things to the castle to make it look more up interesting and eye-catching.
I would add the castles and the olden day bridges that they had back in the medieval times and i would add the defense mechanisms that they had to.

And i would also add the horses in for the transport aspect to.
