Human
Industry:
Transportation: Transportation accounts for 15% of all global Warming
Homes: heating your house uses a lot of energy which creates lots of emissions, fridges and freezer use gases in cooling those gases are a major source of emissions
Electricity: We burn gas, oil, coal to create electricity
Natural Causes of Climate Change
Earth's Axis: The earth's axis moves between 22 degrees and 25 degrees every 40000 years. That means different parts of the tropics received the most direct sun's rays.
Agriculture: Farm animals like cows and sheep create methane when they digest their food, (burps and farts)
Controversy: The conference is being hosted in Dubai, but they are one of the world's largest oil producers, with plans to increase their oil production.
Waste: We create a lot of plastic garbage which creates tonnes of Emissions
Volcanoes: Volcanos can put so much ash and dust into the atmosphere that they actually lower the global temperature
Taking Action
Adaptation: adapting to the new temperatures
Mitigation: trying to prevent climate change from getting worse, Bike, Save trees, buy local, eat less meat, switch to renewable sources of energy
The Green House Effect:
Methane (agriculture, oil and gas industry), CO2 ( Industry, transportation, heating your house, cooking), Nitrogen (Agriculture
