- when is it necessary to keep a secret, and when is it not to?
whether in a literary setting, or in real life
2. should there be a criteria of whether you should keep something a secret or not, or is it simply a personal decision? what "criteria" do the two texts go by/apply to?
- in a literary context, how does one decide in which way to reveal a secret; or to reveal it at all, if there were hints that there was information being concealed?
- are the reasons for keeping a secret for such a long time, the same, between the two texts? Or are they different? Or do they share both similarities and differences?
when you're thinking of reasons for either things (similarities or differences), be careful not to make "stretches" in meaning

- why might someone hesitate to tell others about a secret, even though they know that there are people they can trust?

- would it be considered a secret, if the information we conceal, is within ourselves - and at the same time, we are keeping it from ourselves? Or what that just be called not knowing what's inside you?
- how does keeping a secret (especially for a long time) affect the people around the person who keeps the secret? how does it affect the person who is the one keeping the secret?
- why do we keep secrets? what are the reasons that are displayed in the texts?
- is it worth telling someone else about something, that we don't understand ourselves? is it even possible to talk to someone else about something we don't understand?
if the secrets are held for a long time, why are they held for that long? if they were held for a short amount of time, why were they held for a short amount of time?
thesis: some topics are better learned by not revealing every piece of information, whether that's a certain detail, or info that is seemingly important to the reader, in their process of trying to understand a concept (such as the thought process of the author)
in short, some things are better learned with limited info
no use in telling us something that we won't understand anyway, and we can't do something meaningful with
some things, we are better off not knowing; but this isn't going along the lines of "ignorance is bliss"
more like, it becomes noise, if we get to know more things; especially certain details when it comes to learning about something (that we can truly understand only if we go through it ourselves)
