The Baptist Way: A Defense of Baptistic Distinctives, Beleifs, and Missions
Problems
Individuals crave meaningful ceremonies to structure the religious part of their life.
Baptist Churches have shed much, if not all, of the imagery which once communicated its distinctives and beliefs.
The Baptist Way
In modern times, Baptists fully embody the reformation. Some Baptists think themselves Calvinists. A few as Arminians. The truth is all the veins of the Reformation can explain what it means to be Baptist.
Baptists emphasize the centrality of the Gospel.
Baptists emphasize the epitome of Christian meaning: the Bible.
Baptists have maintained that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant verbal revelaton of God to human beings.
Baptists continue to require a personal conversion experience based on faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and King.
Baptists have always preached Jesus as the central figure in human history.
Baptists, when fully Baptist, probably can give God more glory, than they do now and remain Baptist.

We are giving up on the religious movement in America which gave us religious liberty.
We are not living in a genuine Christ-centered life with others.
We compromise the public proclamation of the Gospel to the world.
