Developed countries
They are at the centre of a globalised world in which the interests of companies and governments continue to be considered more important than other things
They are made up of rich and industrialised countries
Developing or underdeveloped countries
They are poor countries with very little industrialisation

They don't have reached the standards of developed countries
they have high rates of economic growth and may have levels of industrialisation
International decision-making bodies

It began to meet in 1973
Is fomed by USA, Japan, Germany, UK, France, Italy and Canada
BRICS
Is a group of countries with emerging economies joined together at the beginning of this century
Is formed by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa
Economic Organisations
There are a number of economic organisations that have specific aims
Include World Trade Organization (WTO) and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
International Monetary Fund (IMF)
It is to prevent financial crises and to encourage economic stability
World Bank
is to provide loans to governments so that they can carry out reform projects and programmes in their countries
