HOW IT SERVED
While many people in the South enjoy Vietnamese broken rice with spoons or forks, those in the North prefer chopsticks
The steamed broken rice and other ingredients are put on a plate while the mixed fish sauce is put in a small bowl
The dish can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner

SHREDDED PORK RIND (Bi)
Made from a mixture of different ingredients, including pork rind and dried ram, which are boiled and cut into small pieces, the mixed with species such as monosodium glutamate, fish sauce, garlic, etc.

PORK RIBS
People will marinate pork ribs with sweet and
sour spices, then grill them on charcoal stoves
After being grilled, the ribs slowly absorb the rich spices, giving off atasty aroma

Before cooking, broken rice will be soaked with water for a few hoursuntil the rice grains are soft

It was the meal of poor farmers who picked up what was left after the rice milling process and then became a popular dish among workers in the area around Saigon

Broken rice was a dish for the lower class in South Vietnam but is now brought to all regions of Vietnam
"Com" means cooked rice, "Tam" means broken rice grains
