Task B - Informing an audience (Health and Well Being), Strengths,…
-
Strengths
If you address this target audience it could massively help them in later life as they would know why to keep exercising when they are out of school and what the benefits are.
Weaknesses
Addressing the younger years might not have much impact as they might not listen and care about it and realise how important it is. They might also say that they can't be bothered.
Opportunities
The opportunity could be that you massively help people as they might not do any exercise at all and you convince them to start doing some which would massively help there health and well being.
Threat
The threat could be that no one listens and don't believe that exercising and eating healthy is good for you. So nobody changes what they do and none of them exercise when after they finish school.
Strengths
The Government can inform a bigger audience than us as they can inform a whole country. Which will spread the world a lot faster than us.
Weaknesses
The Government probably get thousands of emails so they might not answer or even see it. Meaning it might takes ages for an answer.
Threat
The threat could be that people may not listen to the Government as they are very controversial. Which will impact how many people start exercising.
Opportunities
There is a huge opportunity to inform a whole age range and potentially helping them all live healthier in there everyday life.
Strengths
The strength of targeting parents and carers is that kids listen to these people more so you would be able to spread the word more and a lot quicker. You would get more people to start eating healthier and exercising more.
Weaknesses
The weaknesses of targeting parents is that you don't give the information directly to the kids so when the parents tell them they won't say everything that we would directly to them. Also if you address the kids directly you can convince them but you can't if you tell the parents.
Opportunities
The opportunities of targeting parents is that it allows for a lot more people to find out as there are more chance of parents listening then there is for year 7's and lower years to listen
Threat
The threat of targeting parents about this information is that they might not see the benefits of it and might not believe you need to exercise often. So they won't worry about their kids until later in life when they become unhealthy.
