The PDA's that are used in store are not up to date with software as it doesn't send important information.
The POS system is outdated
The main argument is Whether to use the POS system or stay with the current that runs on DOS.
Zara has no way of being able to see the inventory of other stores. They have to call and see the inventory.
Uncertainty of upgrading to the POS system from DOS.
Zara needs/wants from IT can be difficult to help with the current DOS system.
Possible Solutions (two main solutions)
Stay with the current system that runs on DOS but make sure that the DOS system doesn't get discontinued or not able to be used.
Upgrade and use the new POS System risking the chance the system will not be as consistent and working as the one that runs on DOS.
