        The Japanese are punctual.
        The Italians are passionate.
        
        Place names: India, Turkey and Malaysia are all part of Asia.

        streets or parks or lakes when you’re specifically naming them
        
        Victoria Park is across the road. Lake Como looks lovely at sunset. BUT The lake looks stunning at sunset.
        
        Rule 7 + these geographical nouns (learn them in chunks)
        
        group of mountains: the Himalayas or the Alps, BUT NO ARTICLE for single mountains: Mount Everest or Mount Fuji
        
        Canals, rivers, seas, oceans, valleys and deserts.
        The Panama Canal, The River Nile. The Sahara Desert

- - - - RULE 1 + SINGULAR COUNTABLE NOUNS (=ONE)
        
        RULE 2 - to introduce smth for the 1st time
        
        Rule #3 - when describing something that is not specific =ANY
        
        Rule #4 - Use a or an with jobs and job titles. *not every language uses articles in this same way.
        
        I’m a teacher. He’s an engineer. Lucy’s a scientist. Daniel’s a nurse.
        
        EXCEPTION (=unique, only one with this role):
        the Queen of England, the President of America
        
        COMMON MISTAKES: He’s busy man. She’s intelligent woman. That’s very expensive car.
